RB D50 - Trip leg 1, 2, 3, and 4 information invalid

Trip Leg 1, 2, 3, & 4 Information fields are four, seven-character, alphanumeric fields with identical formats.

Note: The Trip Leg 1, 2, 3, & 4 Information fields are required to qualify for CPS/Passenger Transport.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has incorrect or invalid trip leg 1, 2, 3, and 4 information.

  1. Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.

The system validates that the Trip Leg Information fields correspond to the following format:

Bytes

Values

Bytes 1 and 2

Must contain the correct Carrier code.

Byte 3

Must contain the correct Service Class.

Byte 4

Must contain the correct Stop-Over code:

  • Space = N/A
  • 0 = Stop-over allowed
  • 1 = Stop-over not allowed

 

Bytes 5, 6 and 7

Must contain the correct destination city / airport code.
