RB T10 - Cashback total non-numeric, incorrect, or not zero

Cashback Total is a 16-digit, numeric field containing the total of the cashback amount from Optional Group #1 in the detail record. The format of this field must be right justified with zero-fill. The Cashback Total field must be set to zero if Optional Group #1 is not used. The system validates the data element type and length of this field.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid cashback total.
  1. Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline the corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
