Set a Queue as Offline and Forward Its Work Items to Another Queue

If you have sufficient user privileges, you can set a work queue as Offline and have any work items assigned to it automatically forwarded to another queue.

To do this:

1. From the Links menu, select Work Queue, and then select Work Queue Management.

   

   The Work Queue Management page opens.

   

2. For the queue whose new items you want to redistribute, select Edit.

   The page expands to include the redistribution options.

   

3. Select the Offline check box, and then from the Forwarding Queue drop-down list, select the queue where you want the items assigned.

   Note: If you also want to move new Risk work items from the forwarding queue to the round robin where they will be redistributed to associated round robin queues, select the Redistribute Queue's New Work Items to Round Robin check box.

4. Select Update.
