IRS Backup Withholding

To run an IRS Backup Withholding report:

From the Reports menu, click IRS Backup Withholding.

The IRS Backup Withholding page opens.
Enter or select the required information to report on in these fields:
- Report Occurrence: Accept the default Daily.
- Report: Accept the default IRS Backup Withholding.
- Start Date
  To view data for a different date or date range:
  1. In the Date, Start Date, or End Date field, type a date, or click the calendar icon and then select a date from the pop-up calendar.
  2. Click the Refresh icon.
    The page refreshes to display data for the selected date or date range.
  Note: The Start Date must be the current date or a future date and must be less than or equal to the Stop Date unless the Stop Date is set to 00/00/0000.
- End Date
  To view data for a different date or date range:
  1. In the Date, Start Date, or End Date field, type a date, or click the calendar icon and then select a date from the pop-up calendar.
  2. Click the Refresh icon.
    The page refreshes to display data for the selected date or date range.
- Bank Number: Select the back-end Bank Number to report on.
- Funding Entity Level: Select one of these options for the level of entity to report on:
  - All (Merchant, Association, and Group)
  - Merchant
  - Association
  - Group
- Funding Entity ID: If required, an ID number for the Funding Entity Level (Merchant ID, Association ID, Group ID) you want to report on.
  Tip: Click Look Up to search for the Funding Entity ID by Merchant, Association, or Group name.
  
  Note: The Funding Entity ID field is unavailable if you select All for the Funding Entity Level; this will report on all merchants.
- Federal Tax ID
- DBA State: Select the doing-business-as (DBA) state to report on, or accept the default ALL.
- AMEX OptBlue: To report on merchants set up (or not set up) for AMEX OptBlue, select Y (or N), or accept the default ALL for both types of merchants.
Click Generate.
Your IRS Backup Withholding Report opens.
