Charge Journal

The Charge Journal report lists detailed information on all debits and credits for each merchant account on file for the month.

On the Portfolio Reporting page, from the Reporting Area drop-down list, select ACH.
The Automated Clearing House is a computer-based clearing and settlement service for the interchange of electronic debits and credits among financial institutions.
From the Report Occurrence drop-down list, select Monthly.
The page refreshes and ACH monthly report options become available.
From the Report drop-down list. select Charge Journal.
The page refreshes and Charge Journal filter criteria become available.
Select the Month that you want to view from the drop-down list.
Select the Bank Number(s) to include in the report.
Note: To select multiple bank numbers, press and hold Ctrl, and then click the bank numbers you want.
Provide at least one of the following pieces of information:
- To view the report for a specific association, type the Association ID number.
  The six-digit number that indicates the association to which a merchant belongs.
  
  Note: You can search for an association ID number. For more information, refer to Searching for data entities.
- To view the report for a specific merchant, type the Merchant ID number.
  A number assigned by TSYS that identifies the merchant.
  
  Note: You can search for a merchant ID number. For more information, refer to Searching for data entities.
- To view the report for a specific Charge Record Type, select it from the drop-down list.
  This indicates the type of charge record. Charge record types include, but are not limited to, the following:
  - Membership
  - Terminal
  - Printer
  - Chargeback
  - Discount
  - Miscellaneous
- To view the report for a specific Officer Code, type the four-digit code.
  1. A four-character code for the officer who approved the charge record.
  2. A four-character code that identifies the DDA officer.
Click Generate Report.
If data for the selected criteria are available, the report appears.
