Value/row functionality

To use the HTML Active report value/row functionality:

1. Click a value in a row to open the HTML Active row feature menu.

   

2. Click the menu option for the feature you want to use:
   • Comments

     Opens the Add Comment box allowing you to add a comment about the value you clicked.

     To add a comment to a value in the report:

     1. Click on a value in a row to open the HTML Active row feature menu, and then click Comments to open the Add Comment box.

        

     2. In the Enter Comment box, enter your comment, and then click the Add Comment button.

        The Add Comment box closes and the value you added the comment to is identified with an asterisk (*) in the report display.

        

        Tip: To change the way values with comments are displayed in the report, at any column heading, click the down arrow icon to open the HTML Active column feature menu, and then use the Comments sub-menu.

        Opens a sub-menu allowing you to click an option to specify how values with comments are displayed in the report:

        • Expand: Expands any values in the report that have comments applied to them to display those comments.

          

        • Hide Indicator: Hides the indicators that show which values have comments applied.

          

     3. To remove a comment from a value, click the value in the report display to open the HTML Active row feature menu, and then click Comments to open the Add Comment box.

        

     4. Click the x icon for the existing comment, and then click the Add Comment button.
   • Highlight Value

     Highlights every row containing the column value you clicked.

   • Highlight Row

     Highlights the row you clicked.

   • Unhighlight All

     Unhighlights all highlighted rows.

   • Filter Cell

     Filters the report to display only those rows containing the value you clicked, removing any previous Filter Cell function you applied.

     Once a Filter Cell function is applied, the Remove Cell Filter option becomes available in the HTML Active row feature menu, which you can click to remove the Filter Cell function.

   • Remove Cell Filter

     This option becomes available once a Filter Cell function is applied. It removes the applied Filter Cell function.
