The Discount Rate Journal report lists information on fixed discount rate tables (DRTs). You can view a bank-level report or a merchant-level (9999) report.

A number assigned by TSYS that identifies the merchant.

If data for the selected criteria are available, the report appears.
The Discount Rate Journal report includes the following data:
A row in a report that indicates one or more categories by which data in the report is grouped.
The number that identifies the bank.
The four-digit number of the billing element table (BET) or discount rate table (DRT).
Plan Type (listed for merchant level tables [9999] only)
The plan types are:
Merchant (listed for merchant level tables [9999] only)
A number assigned by TSYS that identifies the merchant.
The percentage of the net or gross sales dollar volume that is currently used to calculate the discount for the merchants assigned to the table.
The fee that is currently used to calculate the discount for the number of net or gross sales.
The percentage of the net or gross sales dollar volume that is currently used to calculate the rebate for the merchants assigned to the table.
The fee that is currently used to calculate the rebate for the number of net or gross sales.
The date on which new discount rates are applied.
The percentage amount a bank-level table will use to calculate the discount as of the effective date.
The amount a bank-level table will use to calculate the discount for each item as of the effective date.
The percentage amount a bank-level table will use to calculate the rebate as of the effective date.
The amount a bank-level table will use to calculate the rebate for each item as of the effective date.
